Looking for electric or acoustic guitar lessons near you?
Beatbox offers guitar lessons for all ages, abilities and musical styles in a relaxed and creative environment.
The guitar is possibly the most influential musical instrument in the world, and has been the driving force behind the revolution and evolution of music as we know it today. Like the keyboard, it’s perfect for song writing and is equally satisfying to play on your own as it is in a band situation (it’s portable too!).
Guitar lessons at Beatbox are relaxed but informative, covering all aspects of guitar playing, from an introduction to the basics through to musical theory and instrument care. We aim to give you the skills you need to go out and play good music, and will introduce you to many different techniques of guitar playing.
“It’s an incredible feeling when you hear a student play something you didn’t teach them… something that came from their own imagination and creativity, and I just gave them the means to get it out”
Joe Cox, Beatbox Music Tuition
Beatbox Inspires!
At Beatbox we don’t want to simply instruct our students, we want to inspire them! We often give our students the opportunity to play along with other musicians in a live band situation, which most find incredibly enjoyable and don’t often get the chance to do elsewhere. It’s great for improving confidence and helps to motivate and inspire students to work harder too.
Tailoring our approach…
Students have the opportunity to enter for the guitar grade exams or performance awards, although we stress that this is not a necessity, as we tailor lessons to suit the needs and preferences of the student. We don’t believe in studying an instrument just to pass exams, but we do believe in playing to the best of your ability.
Our guitar tutors will be happy to help if you ever need any help or guidance with finding a suitable instrument.
